100 crore Bizongo Investment fraud Case – Punjab and Haryana High Court grants bail to Accused

In a significant legal development, the Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, presided over by Mr. Justice Jasjit Singh Bedi has granted regular bail to Mr. Souvik Sengupta, former Non-Executive Additional Director of Smartpaddle Technology Private Limited (Bizongo). The case stems from registration of multiple FIRs alleging a massive investment fraud of nearly ₹100 crore, perpetrated against several investors in the company.

The Accused was represented by Karanjawala & Co. Advocates, led by Mr. Sandeep Kapur, Senior Partner, Mr. Irfan Muzamil and Mr. Rishabh Munjal, who had briefed Mr. R.S. Cheema, Senior Advocate.

The State was represented by Ms. Diya Sodhi, Sr. DAG, Haryana.
