Desai & Diwanji advised the Shapoorji Pallonji group in its INR 213,500,000,000 (approximately US$ 2.5 billion) financing by way of unrated, unlisted, secured, zero coupon, redeemable non-convertible debentures for Eqyizen Investment Private Limited. The transaction also consisted of an issuance of US$ 650,000,000 notes issued by a Mauritian entity. The proceeds of the notes were utilized for subscribing to the INR NCDs.
