Saraf and Partners acts for Fortis Healthcare in relation to operation and maintenance arrangement with Gleneagles

Saraf and Partners represented Fortis Healthcare Limited (“Fortis Healthcare”) in relation to a strategic collaboration with Gleneagles Healthcare India Private Limited (“Gleneagles”) for the provision of operation and maintenance services at five hospitals and one clinic of Gleneagles in India. The transaction is in furtherance of Fortis Healthcare’s strategic expansion of its geographical and operational footprint in the Indian healthcare sector.

Gleneagles is a wholly owned subsidiary company of the IHH Healthcare Berhad (“IHH Healthcare”).

Saraf and Partners acted for Fortis Healthcare in various aspects of the arrangement, including the structuring of the arrangement, drafting and negotiation of the operation and maintenance agreement, regulatory advisory, as well as corporate governance requirements.
