Saraf and Partners Advises Gaja Capital on USD 17 Million Series B Investment in Good Roots Kitchenware

Saraf and Partners acted as legal counsel to Gaja Capital (“Gaja”) in connection with its USD 17 million Series B investment in Good Roots Kitchenware Private Limited, a health focused kitchenware firm selling cookware and kitchenware across both online and offline channels, operating under the brand name “The Indus Valley” (“Company” /”Good Roots”).
The funding round was led by Gaja. The Company counts DSG Consumer Partners, Rukam Capital and The Chennai Angels, White Whale among its investors.
The Transaction team was led by Vivek Pareek (Partner) and comprised Sanika Gadgil, Tanya Adani, Abhishek Jasuja and Kevin Davis (Associates).
