Adil Hussain joins Hogan Lovells Cadwalader as banking and finance partner

Adil Hussain has joined Hogan Lovells Cadwalader in Dubai, strengthening the firm’s Banking and Loan Finance practice in the Middle East. He moves from Baker McKenzie, where he served as Global Head of Islamic Finance and led the firm’s Banking and Finance practice across the Middle East.

At Baker McKenzie, Hussain advised on conventional, Shariah-compliant, and multi-sourced financing transactions for a client base spanning international and regional financial institutions, corporate borrowers, and other market participants. His work covered structuring and development of financing products across the UAE, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia, and he is recognised in legal directories for his expertise in Islamic finance.

Hussain has practised across the wider Middle East and internationally throughout his career, building experience in sophisticated cross-border financing matters.
