Apeksha Sawant joins Allianz Jio Reinsurance as Chief Legal and Compliance Officer

Apeksha Sawant has taken up the role of Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at Allianz Jio Reinsurance Limited.

Sawant joins from Mahindra Insurance Brokers, where she spent approximately one year. She brings close to 15 years of experience across regulatory compliance, corporate legal matters, litigation management, and contract management, all within the general insurance sector.

Earlier in her career, she held positions at Liberty General Insurance and ICICI Lombard.

Sawant holds an LLB from the University of Mumbai and an LLM from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
