Akshit Mago joins Triumvir Law as Partner in New Delhi

Akshit Mago has joined Triumvir Law as a Partner in its New Delhi office.

Prior to this move, Mago was Counsel at Unum Law, where his practice spanned commercial, construction, insolvency and civil disputes, as well as arbitration-related court proceedings covering interim measures, the setting aside of awards, and enforcement. He has represented companies and multinational corporations in the aviation, energy, infrastructure and hospitality sectors, and has appeared before the Delhi High Court, the National Company Law Tribunal and the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, in addition to arbitral tribunals in India and abroad. His arbitration experience includes proceedings conducted under the ICC, LCIA, SIAC and UNCITRAL Rules.

Mago began his career at the Offices of Ashish Mohan before moving to the Chambers of Sandeep Sethi, Senior Advocate, and subsequently spent time at Three Crowns LLP in London, a firm focused on international arbitration.

Mago holds a 2017 degree from Amity Law School, Delhi, and an Advanced LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement and Arbitration from Leiden University. Anubhab Sarkar, Managing Partner of Triumvir Law, noted that Mago has built a credible and varied body of work in Delhi’s disputes practice over nearly a decade across New Delhi and London, and described the appointment as part of the firm’s plan to develop its Delhi presence.
