Swathy Ramanath joins Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas as Partner

Swathy Ramanath has joined Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co as a Partner in the firm’s Infrastructure, Energy and Project Finance practice, based in Bengaluru.

Ramanath was most recently a Partner at Khaitan & Co, where she had spent her entire career since joining as an Associate in 2011. Over 15 years in practice, she has advised on matters across the projects, infrastructure and energy sectors, with experience spanning project contracts, concessions and bid processes, mergers and acquisitions, and financing. Her sectoral focus has included power transmission, airports, conventional and renewable power, railways and allied infrastructure, and other critical infrastructure assets. She has additionally advised clients on disputes within these sectors and on the establishment and growth of Global Capability Centres in India.

Ramanath is a 2011 graduate of the National Law School of India University.
