In a significant move to streamline its asset portfolio, ITC Limited has successfully disposed of an unproductive asset located at Sadahalli, near the airport.
The asset, comprising approximately 12 acres of converted land, had been under ITC’s possession for a long period but was deemed non-performing. This prompted the company to take strategic action to optimize its real estate holdings.
Poovayya & Co played a crucial role in advising ITC Limited on the structuring of the transaction, providing end-to-end advisory services to effectively dispose of the non-productive asset. The advisory team included Savitha KG (Partner), Swarna Shenoy (Principal Associate), and Mohan Krishna (Associate).
