Cybersecurity is the technique of securing key systems and sensitive data against different kinds of digital threats. Cybersecurity measures, which is a part of information technology (IT) security, prevent threats involved in networked systems and applications, whether they come from within or outside of a company.
But the complexity of these security systems is exacerbated by diverse technology and a lack of in-house knowledge that drive up prices. Firms that properly implement a comprehensive cybersecurity plan based on best practices and automated using sophisticated analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning may more successfully combat cyberthreats and limits the lifetime and impact of such breaches when they occur.
Some of the examples of cybercrime include cyber assaults that seek to access, modify, or delete data; extort money from customers or the company, or disrupt routine business activities. Layers of protection to guard against cybercrime is included in a comprehensive cybersecurity plan
